This makes it impossible not only to keep the gold box alive but also makes it impossible to collect pins, it would be fine if the star tournament counted as new levels but it does not.

Sadly I'm out again. Now sitting on the fourth place for just 3 points from a recording being at 63 points. If possible, can the gold crowns count as 2 points again on Weekly Contest so that users who are at the top of the map can at least reach out the third position in weekly contest and gain a medal like how it was for a few weeks in the past. I don't like being outside of first three positions in Weekly Contest, though. Otherwise, make Weekly Contest only available to account with lots of levels left (i.e. If the account finishes out the levels, weekly contest should be included still until its end as the user has made progress, but if the user just gets the new levels, 60 might not be enough and therefore won't be able to get a podium medal). In other words, this event should only be offered if the user has more than 60 levels to do as this event is completely useless to such players since Star Tournament is excluded from this event
Same to mine but at least for the reminder of Saturday I managed to keep up the 3rd position in Weekly Contest after a week of being fourth in its last days of the event.
So you will get the old Chocolate Box style if you play 60 or fewer levels in a week? If its true, then it aligns with how the recent Prize Palooza worked. Such players gained the version where all levels work but new ones had x30 multiplier instead of the version without multiplier and only on new levels. But in this case, you can finish out on Wednesday if you're lucky. But if the box was created in Wednesday, Thursday or Friday Morning-Early Afternoon (Based on my Time zone) then it will be unachievable if you can't find a task that can be done without new levels.

I do all 60 levels in one day in order to access the Star Tournament quickly. I do have the time to finish them. For the chocolate box, I try to finish the majority that is doable without new levels before these come out.

Agree star tournament should count towards leader board another bad change is you no longer get full lives after using unlimited lives changes to the game have not been positive
Wow you must both have so much spare time. 120 new levels a week would be awful, how many boosters/gold bars would you need for that. I'd rather King put the new levels back to 45 rather than the 60 we now get. There's no need to complete 60 all in one go, just work out weekly what you would need to cover playing the Chocolate Box and other events š
Actually 60 do get added but we don't want to be penalized when we have all of them done. Because of this, I will lose out a podium medal in Weekly Contest.
More levels should be added each week, about 120, so players can choose to continue or stop and do star tournament.

That's what I wonder too. Weekly Contest should be working with Star Tournament as well as this makes end of map players impossible to even become third place to get a podium medal as the 60 new levels every week aren't enough. Same for Chocolate Box. The Win Unplayed levels and Candies in new level wins tasks of Chocolate Box should both work with Star Tournament as users with the old style (25 Gold on Gold Boxes) may not see a Party or UFO options in the fourth task and can cause the box to expire if the box was started between Wednesday to Friday morning.
Totally agree and you can't compete in weekly tournament. We are penalised for finishing all levels

I have played for 5 years or more and win you beat a level you get 600 paw coins, isn't it time to increase the amount to at least 1,000 ,it's crazy work that it's still the same amount.
I've been stuck on level 18623 for weeks on end and it's obvious that the game wants me to spend money to be able to progress in the game. It used to be fun.
There doesn't seem to be anyone aroundā¦.
Iām on level 18543 and there is no way to get out of it unless I buy bonus stuff. All my adds have disappeared so I canāt watch for extra moves. Will they return? Iāve been on this level for weeks and honestly Iām about to delete the app!
