Purchase unsuccessful message

I keep getting the same message when I try and buy gold bars, " Purchase Unsuccessful, No Money has been taken from your account"

I am using a apple iPad 6th gen, I have money in my apple account, my internet connection is good, I just dont get it, I have been trying for days to find an answer on here

but can't find anything to help, what am I doing wrong. All I want to do is buy some gold bars in the game, please help.
