Edit: this new forum is driving me mad. The word above appeared as a post by me in this thread, but I never posted it. I deleted my drafts days ago, if that’s where it came from but I can’t imagine that it did. Having discovered it by chance, I edited it to read … and saved it.Now I go in and find it’s still there, exactly as it was, just saying ‘kan’.

I’m finding this new layout head-wrecking enough without it gaslighting me.

Actually yes I did delete the app and installed it afterwards... my precious boosters gone 🥺 .. thanks for the response

Hello @thenerd If you actually delete the app from your device then the boosters disappear with it as they were stored inside the device's memory. If this is what you did and then reinstalled the app there is no way to get them back. Is that what happened, or did you lose them by just reloading the game?

I reloaded the game and now I have lost my boosters. Any idea on how to get them back ?

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to scroll down to earlier levels, so you'll probably have to find another level to complete the task. There are other suitable levels out there. I use level 17459 myself. It's a frog puzzle level, and it gives me three color bomb combinations if I play it right. If you like this type of level, you can try it.

I am on 19000's levels. Any tip to get back to the earlier levels without strolling for hours... Thanks for your response

This new chocolate box challenge has become very difficult.. Get 2000 orange, green, or blue candies with new level become very difficult. The number of gold bars have reduced. On each level you have to spend goldb bars to clear levels. The game has become boring..

I am on 20k plus level

This task can be completed on old levels. Level 2000 has lots of color bombs on the starting board, and you start by making two double color bomb combos. Replay it 11 times and you are done.

I have come to a stage in the chocolate box where I have to match 2 color bombs - just 21 times !!! - to complete the task. Looks impossible. Yes I get that collecting thousands of orange or green candies is very hard and tiring.. but come on... getting 2 color bombs side by side is hard enough and you expect me to do this 21 times.. Gosh

And you didn't even give me a chance to change it with another mission..it just popped out of the blue

I got that new one today where it won't count your goal (stripes, colors, whatever) unless you're playing a new level. Welp, so much for the chocolate box for me. I could see it if they reduced the number you need, but it's still almost 3000 orange candies (for example), which it was when it would take them on replayed levels. I guess the ONE bright spot is now I don't have to waste time watching the bonus ads to get extra moves on levels. Before I would click them all just to have a few more moves to collect candies I needed for the chocolate box. Don't need to do that anymore! I guess King didn't think about the ad metrics on that.

I went to vote and the voting has stopped. I have been playing Candy Crush Saga for about

4 years. The Chocolate boxes have been getting harder. If you fail to have the right task in your

box after 3 changes and does not appear in the daily treat or booster wheel. You have to wait until

the time on your chocolate box expires.

it is horrible this new version. The event tab was easy to find and useful. Now, it is tricky. The progress is not shown clearly and it seems that now only counts new levels items. After +18k levels I am thinking of stop playing. Also, the level are so difficult in the original movements number that, it you want to pass, you need to spend and spend golden bars or loose all progress. Finally, the level competitions are giving less bars (chocolate box and level). It seems the game is made by greedy people.

By Not as easy to get to, you mean not at all able to get to. Same as the daily win and daily treat machine.

I guess they want to lose players. I'm done, after 13 years of playing and completing 20000+ levels.

'Not as easy to get to'? It's completely disappeared! It's one of the few reasons to keep playing these days.

Hello @victrola9, Do you still have the Events tab. If not, you are probably in a test group, so you can’t find the chocolate box. However, it hasn’t been removed -- it’s just not as easy to get to right now. The chocolate box is still working in the background, so when you finish a task, it will pop up on your map, and you can collect the rewards if you win. Unfortunately, the button to open the Chocolate Box is missing. We expect this to be fixed soon.
