I have been playing this game on this tablet for years but since accidentally uninstalling it I am unable to reinstall it

That kind of makes sense. Really annoying though as have been playing this game for years. I still have it on my iPhone though so guess I’ll have to play it on there. Just liked playing it on a bigger screen.

@julielacey23 It's a file you install on your phone and from there install the game. For example, the same as you download a song. I am right now thinking that it might be that your device is older. When you first installed the game it was probably compatible but it got old since and now it's not compatible anymore. Does it make sense to you?
Uk. What’s an apk file? I don’t understand why I had on there before and now it doesn’t even show in play store. Makes no sense
@julielacey23 That's odd. Where are you from? I am from Serbia and in my Google Play Store I can't install CCS but I can install other King games. That's why I downloaded apk file aside from Google Play Store.
i have all available updates. I have just reset my tablet back to factory settings, gone to the play store and typed in candy crush saga in the search bar and candy crush saga doesn’t come up. Only 1. Best tips for Candy Crush Saga 2. Super Tips Candy Crush Saga 3. Fandom. Etc etc etc
@julielacey23 Ok, if you have available OS update it would be good to do it. And also check if your Google Play Store has the last version. It should be 14.2.63
I have just cleared both caches and tried reinstalling but still getting the same message : can’t install candy crush saga
@julielacey23 As far as I know King games work with Android 4.4 and above. It might be that your OS version is not compatible but it seems like something different is the problem here. Try clearing the Play Store cache, but clear both Google Play Store and Google Play Services and then see what's happening.

for best device performance you need to backup & reset your device.
You can remove data from your Android phone or tablet by resetting it to factory settings. Resetting this way is also called "formatting" or a "hard reset."
Important: A factory reset erases all your data from your device.

I have just tried this link. It told me it is installed. When I click on installed it tells me that there are no eligible devices for app install. This is on the drop down menu which does also show my device but it’s not highlighted so I can’t choose it. I hope this makes sense. This is really frustrating as I had it on there before so can’t understand why I still can’t have it
