The best way to get more lives is to invite a lot of players to be your friend, then send them lives and ask them for lives.
You can use 20 lives from friends per day. That is always enough for me.
Here some tips on how to build up a friends list:
If you are part of the Palooza event: Click on each player's Player card and invite them to be your friend. I often find that players who take part in live leaderboard competitions will befriend me. Those players are real and active, so are more likely to become yours friends than the ones the app picks for you as suggestions.
If you get a friendship request make sure to accept it and send them a life straight away.
Go into your friends list at the bottom of the map screen and click on all those suggested by the game who "send lives".
Once you have friends in your game make sure you send each one a life every day: That way your own player card will show that you are a good giver of lives, so more players will choose to become your friend.
Always send a life as well as ask for them. This does not cost you anything.

Hey! 👋 The only way to get more lives in Candy Crush is through the built-in game options — like waiting for the timer to refill, requesting lives from friends, or using special events/rewards. There’s unfortunately no chatting system or direct player-to-player interaction to ask others for lives. Everything has to go through the game itself.
