just wondering why the extra hard levels per race always seem to need extra moves which means purchases. I like to think I am pretty good at this game but annoys me when I need to pay to advance. Thanks

I always manage to get to level 4000 on a new account with lots of gold bars in the account. I wonder if using my tips might be of help. I do try to share all the methods that I use with others. You can play Candy Crush all the way up to level 4000 and make a gold profit each episode, but the methods are different from how we used to play years ago, so it's not for everyone. Some of us who used to enjoy cascades and lucky boards will find the new Candy Crush not much fun. The game is now about budgeting gold bars and boosters. If you are interested here are my tips on how to play from scratch:
I actually closed my account after reaching 12000 about 6 months ago, but started again and am now at 2300, so I have played enough and got to a high enough level to know it hasn’t always been like this. Totally agree with your comment, but we shouldn’t have to pay because levels are impossible to pass without buying extra moves or wait 4 days to get a freebie
The answer would be that King want to make a profit from the game, so they do whatever they see fit to encourage players to spend some money on the game. Candy Crush is full of illusions, manipulations and marketing tricks that work towards that goal. Which level are you at?
