This popped up in my game today.
On my map, I spotted a Pin Swap point that was three levels away and had a 24-hour timer.
The game urges players not to tarry, mentioning that rare pins get claimed quickly. Indeed, one of the pins had already been taken by someone before I completed three levels (and a chocolate box 🙂).
Selecting a pin brings up a list of duplicates that are available for trading. Interestingly, there seems to be no way to avoid trading pins after entering the Pin Swap point (I'd rather not acquire new pins too quickly).
Are pins really swapped with someone? I got the impression that the feature is just as fake as many other things in the game. However, the info screen mentions that pins can 'come from friends', and indeed, one pin had an avatar next to it. Unfortunately, I missed an opportunity to check what would happen if I selected that pin.
Has anyone else seen this?
