Win a year’s supply of Gold Bars

Get ready to end the year with a bang. Winter Cup is back and it is bigger than ever. This is the main tournament of the season and the prize is one players wait for all year.

The top champions in the Final will win 100 Gold Bars every month in 2026.
That is a whole year of Gold Bars. Sweet, right?

How to Play

Play levels during the event and collect blue candies to climb your leaderboard. Keep playing, stay on top and move through each stage until you reach the Final.

Finish first in your Final leaderboard and you will take home the grand prize.

Terms & Conditions!

Tournament Stages

Qualifier Stage
Starts: 22nd December 2025, at 3 a.m. EST 9:00 CET
Ends: 26th December 2025, at 3 a.m. EST 9:00 CET

Finish in the top 5 to enter the First Knockouts.

First Knockouts
Starts: 27th December 2025, at 3 a.m. EST 9:00 CET
Ends: 30th December 2025, at 3 a.m. EST 9:00 CET

Finish in the top 3 to enter the Second Knockouts.

Second Knockouts
Starts: 31st December 2025, at 3 a.m. EST 9:00 CET
Ends: 3rd January 2026, at 3 a.m. EST 9:00 CET

Finish in the top 3 to enter the Final.

Final Stage
Starts: 4th January 2026, at 3 a.m. EST 9:00 CET
Ends: 6th January 2026, at 3 a.m. EST 9:00 CET

Finish in the top spot of your Final leaderboard to win a year’s supply of Gold Bars.

✨ Tips

• Keep an eye on your leaderboard
• Play new levels when you can
• Save boosters for tricky moments

Some players may see a different scoring system this year. If you do, just play normally and enjoy the boost when it appears.

Head up - we're testing something new!

Some of you may see a new scoring feature during Winter Cup called Multiplier Tokens.
Players with multiplier tokens will be matched only with other players with the same in-game experience, so the tournament remains fair for everyone.

If you do not have it, do not worry. You can still play normally and climb your leaderboard as usual 😉

If possible, ensure that users with a high Gold amount can get such events as well. These are the only events I'm missing out fortunately. (Save for events not available to users at the top of the map). I guess you have a high Gold amount like me.

With the current logic, players with a high Gold amount do not get such events because the game thinks that the player does not need to get a Prize (Like the 100 Gold Bars each month from this year's Winter Cup or the boosters from the Sweet Cup event that started months ago).

Those leaderboard events alongside the new levels every Wednesday are the only ways to keep me in Candy Crush Saga for longer as for the most part after finishing the events for today I close the game as I don't have anything else to do. On Mobile, Baker's Box can also keep me for more as I found Star Tournament interesting for that event.

Last but not least, if Candy Cup gets a comeback for 2026 as well, then that event will be important to me too, the 2025 one was fun.

You must have less than 30K Gold Bars in order to get this event. My 40K gold count prevents this and I really wanted to have that event as I liked the 200 bars every month from the Summer Cup I've got.

I don't have it, like so many events in Candy Crush. Whenever it comes to leaderboards, my account is excluded. So, most of the time, all I can do is cheer on others who are allowed to participate.
