Unable to log in to switch to a new device

I have a very old Samsung tablet that I have been using to play the game, and now that I have a new Ipad, I can't seem to log in to an account to transfer my data. I am connected to the Internet, but any log-in attempts give the "connection error" message. Again, the tablet is very old, so the problem may be that it or the software is not up to date. Any help?

To transfer Candy Crush Saga progress from Android to iPad,link your game to the same Facebook or King account on both devices; install the game on your iPad, open it, go to Settings (the gear icon), and log in with your existing credentials to sync your levels, gold, and lives, remembering that boosters are often device-specific

The problem is that I cannot log in to an account to transfer my data. I am connected to the Internet, but any log-in attempts give the "connection error" message.

Not getting lives from my friends list why?
No matter how much I request when I ran out of lives the other players in my friends list never assist me with lives but they keep asking me to send. Why? Here's my user id 1162873740

I have gotten to level 11526 bur can't get past. Anybody have suggestions?

I did not take a screenshot of my 2025 unwrapped stats in December. I do not see a widget for them on the map. Is there a way to still view them?
