I ran out of levels again. Why can’t I earn progress in the weekly contest or the Season Pass10 game that you buy in to get gold status? I only bought in to get to level 10 boosters. I made 9 and halfway to 10 when I ran out of levels and the game ended. This seems unfair since it wasn’t my fault
I tried going back and even accidentally played the last level a few times. Contest did not register s level passed. The chocolates box still registers my play
Can you just confirm that you have a version of Season Pass for which only new levels count? I thought that experiment had been ditched. I can always advance by scrolling back to replay and pass older easy levels.

What’s happening here is tied to how contests and the Season Pass work once you reach the end of available levels. Progress in things like the Weekly Contest and the Season Pass is earned by playing and completing new levels. When there are no more levels available to play, the game unfortunately can’t register progress toward those events, even if they’re still active.
So in your case, you didn’t do anything wrong. You simply ran out of playable levels before the event ended, which meant there was no way for the game to count further progress.
I know that doesn’t make it feel any better, especially since you bought the Gold Pass aiming for specific rewards. I’ll pass this feedback along, because situations like this are important for the team to be aware of. Players hitting the end of content during timed events is something we’re keeping an eye on.
