Am I seeing this right. The Season Pass was updated yesterday and now only works with new levels.

I guess the way they offer the new Season Pass is the same as the way they offer the new Chocolate Box style. My account, at the top of the map does not have the new Season Pass. I guess the new ones doesn't work with Star Tournament (The old doesn't either but you can use old levels to complete it)
Also, did you get the Events tab back by the time you got the old Season Pass again? @Alienscar
The new pass is structured in such a way that you have to play daily to complete it, and the rewards are just not worth it.
Yes @MannyFae the new format was awful. The collect coloured candy options though easy required the completion of more than one Episode a day to complete. That isn't how I want to to play every day. It made me realise how often I had to repeat an old level in order to complete this challenge though.

Whoa, I hadn't realised it had been that long. If you don't play new levels on a regular basis then the new Season Pass is of new use. I had the new Chocolate and Season Pass, so playing some new levels worked. The one time I completed the Season Pass it took me nearly three whole Episodes. That is too many, so I decided just to play at my own pace rather than the Pass's. Like you though without having to play old levels to complete the Pass I found less reason to play the game and only opened it some days to send lives. I have got the old Chocolate Box back as well now.
The thing is even though I have got the old Pass back I have got used to playing less, so I might not go back to my old way of playing. That is, some weekends I would watch telly whilst playing to complete the old Pass. I stopped that due to the new Pass and I will probably just stick with only sending lives at the weekend.

I guess I will play less often too. I mostly use this account for tournaments, but I used to play it a couple of times per week to keep the Choc Box alive and complete the Season Pass. I don't know if I should say anything but mine has reverted back to the old style on Monday just gone.
Whilst I had the new look Pass I only completed it once. Also I played less and didn't open my game for a total of six days (spread over a couple of weeks). Hopefully they got the message from that.

Yes and no @Davi1233GDYT in my game the new Season Pass has replaced the Events tab, but I know that other people still have the Events tab and their Season Pass is just a widget.

š¤£ @bull3061 I don't stop mentioning the direction of CC.. and like others give countless feedback on so many issues. But unfortunately we've yet to see that what we keep sending feedback on is actually being taken into consideration. You'd think they'd be grateful for all the free advice we give to make the game fun again and worth playing. I've already passed 20,000 and still keeping my š¤they will start listening š
Well stated @Carol-38 .. I've mentioned a few times about the direction of CC.. and that is obviously not the direction of the decision makers & their profit desire.. so they get less and less from me.. I'm near 20,000 levels over the years... and fading fast... more reasons not to open at all...
The issue is that I mainly play new levels on Windows and not on a mobile device any longer and this means that if this is also only exclusive on Mobile, then I won't be having the ability to complete it, if it is just for new levels only. If Star Tournament does not count, then this event will be uncompletable for those who are waiting for new levels. Some events like Baker's Box do work with Star Tournament, though.
I still have the old version, but I wasn't planning to upgrade anyway since I noticed the last time how much more difficult they made it to get all the prizes. It seems you have to win many more levels to advance and then you wind up with a useless fish or something. And I used to always upgrade, so that's one less money spender for Candy Crush.
Yes @christinewupp there is still an upgrade available for the Season Pass, but it is no longer called the Gold Pass.
Out of interest, is there a gold pass option and do you know what you get if you payed for it? A lot of players used to buy the gold pass. I don't think this is a wise move for King. Let's hope this is just a short-lived test.
I just don't understand it @Alienscar š Yes we know companies have to earn money to cover costs, and in this company to make it's owners rich, rich, rich, but what a way to go about it. With what they are doing, and also not doing it seems they want players to stop. Surely their aim should be to have such a fun game that encourages old and new players to stay. I'm sure there are many - we've seen evidence - who are willing to pay (the ones who lose adverts) and many others have said they pay, now will they want to keep playing and paying with all these unhelpful, unachievable, boring changes.
I'm not overly bothered anymore, they've already done a good job of putting me off with the unblockable, full of blockers new levels , so they can do whatever. I'll see what I get next week and if I do have it that will be another Moaning Minnie message to poor Queenie. My main reason for opening the game in the morning is to send lives, getting a timed booster - that I won't use - from the Daily Treat Machine and a Coconut Wheel - to add to my other 100's from the Booster Wheel.
So if the Developers or their Goffers are reading this why don't you listen to well meant feedback to make the game fun again and worth staying with š¤

It is even worse than I thought. The daily tasks are time limited as well as requiring the completion of new levels.
Why is it that every new feature or change to the game requires the completion of new levels.
On a positive note at least I will be playing less as without playing old levels to complete the Season Pass I now have less reason to open the game.
Call me paranoid @Carol-38 but I shouldn't have asked if you still have Events.

I have lost my Events page and I only have widgets now
The new Season Pass is now where my Events used to be, so I wonder if this Pass is linked to the widget changeover. If it is then I would guess that this Pass is going to be the future.
Who knows with King though as not everyone gets the same features
So, the last event that could be completed by playing old levels is gone. I can't say I wasn't expecting this. Oh, and the Events tab is doomed too.

Do you think it could be another new feature? I think if what you've got is a new version of Season Pass, it could be the last straw for many š„ŗ

Ads that start with scrolling green line across bottom and green OPEN rectangle "crash" most of the time. Only the green line ones have problem. Problem: ad plays, x appears top right corner. Click x , supposed to exit or go to next page of ad. Usually goes to ad's web page. When you try to return to candy crush , it stuckā¦
