Can’t use my 20 lives from friends

I am unable to use my lives that friends sent me. I can only wait until the clock runs down and gives me one. Why am I sending lives then? It’s already hard enough to advance without buying boosters. This pretty much makes it not worth it to play the game. On the upside, I won’t spend my fun money on here

Many players, including me, never spend money along their Candy Crush Saga journey, so we depend on extra lives and boosters to help us win levels. Your strategy is sound you do not need to spend money!
