Ranking first in the Qualifier does not make you eligible for 250 gold bars. As Christine mentioned, the tournament consists of three rounds. You need to win both the Knockout round and the Final to receive the prize.
The info screen says: 250 gold to be won in the Final!
I received a notice that I was ranked first and the 250 bars were not added to the balance.
Are you writing about the Valentine Cake event? That round was just a qualifying round. You need to win both the knockout round and the finals to get the prize of 250 gold bars!
