“You’re offline. Connect to the Internet and try again”

I had an old version of candy crush and it made me download the newest one or else I couldn’t play anymore. When I did that all (like 500) of my gold bars disappeared and it logged me out of my account. I can’t earn anymore rewards or do any challenges. I’m on like 7381 and I don’t wa t to lose my progress. When I try to save my progress and type my account into it that message appears even though my info is correct. I’ve already tried that offloading app thing where it deletes something but your progress should be saved and that didn’t fix the problem. What else can I do? I don’t want to delete the app and redownload bc I’m afraid I’ll have to start again. Thank you

I’m not sure what he said because it’s in a different language but actually it’s now working for me! I’ve played about 40 levels since then lol. What I did was turn off my Wi-Fi and stuff, loaded the game, but didn’t actually click play yet. Before I clicked play I turn my Wi-Fi back on. It was another tip I saw in a similar post so finally everything is working again. Thank you!

yes I’m still waiting on a response. I did the steps you mentioned above and reset my password yet again. I’ll try to use another device to log into my account before I delete the app & redownload on my current phone

Hey again @alovesherdoggie, it's recommended to use the route I wrote earlier and not the instagram one - did you not get any response at all?

You should be able to get the progress as long as you login to the account you had connected to your game. If you uninstall the game, it may help, but it will also remove your boosters since those are connected to the game files.

yes I already reset my password. I’ve tried to contact them but I can’t seem to get a hold of them. I tried messaging them on Instagram but they never respond to me. Worst case is I can delete the app and try again but I probably may lose some levels in the process

Your progress is stored in your account - which is either a King account (connected to an email) or a Facebook connected account. So if you login, your progress and your gold bars should still be there.

It sounds like there might be some issue with logging in, but if you're having troubles logging in you can reset your password. Otherwise I recommend reaching out to the support within the game to see if you can troubleshoot it further, this is done by going to:

🔗 Go to an article
💬 Scroll down and press "Contact us" or "Chat with us"

It's good if you can let them know what email you used for the account as well if possible.
