Outside of a handful of levels, these candies actually interfere with the ability to win a level.
Also with the smart fish there are even less levels these are useful on.

This is off topic but have you noticed they changed level 92 @Insertnicknamehere ? I noticed today. I'm not sure why they changed it. It's gumball machines now. (No more double colour bomb combos from that one then…. I used to use it for the chocolate box before reaching level 2000.)
I do agree on the lucky candies. I hardly ever use them. There are a few levels they seem to induce luck for, I've used them in replays when the level left me one of the order short, and then got some luck with lots of lucky candies helping me pass.
Hello @Insertnicknamehere and thank you for sharing your thoughts about the lucky candy and smart fish. With so many levels in Candy Crush Saga (over 21,000) it can be a challenge to use these items effectively.
I agree that there are few levels in which to use the lucky candies, but I find them most helpful on levels where I must collect lots of a specific color candy. I avoid using them when I need to collect blockers, such as licorice swirls. Do have other strategies?
