Oh dear, what a disappointment! I'm sorry to hear this.
I started my all brand new All Stars competing new game at the weekend. It didn't start off well: They took my gold bars from me when I signed into an ancient King account (used only for Alphabetty, never for Candy Crush), so I was stuck at level 90 with a gold balance of zero. 😫 Kingsley gave me a ticket for customer support but the emails they send me keep telling me to come here to the community for advice. I thought about it but then thought…. no, I'll get back to earning gold when I hit level 200.
At least level 114 was passable at first try no boosters this time.
It will be my last time also. No more test accounts.
It's just too boring, boring, boring. The moment they got rid of chocolate in the early levels was the beginning of the end for me. I hung around over a year giving them a chance to make the game interesting again, but it's just got worse and worse. The enjoyment factor is gone and All Stars is now the only reason I bother to play.
Haha not new at all.
Anyway, let the game bake for another year, see if they get to a point where you have the consistency of difficulty, with a few tweaks, you see around 1000ish applied across the board.

Anyway with Candy Bombs now officially toast, and the game designed around All Stars, money money money, not super likely to see much improvement. Maybe if they bring out Candy Crush Classic, level circa 2021, might see my revival.
