Lost guest progress

Question

Hi, I played as a guest for a few weeks and then connected to my Facebook forgetting I had played in the past . I lost all of my progress and over 250 worth of gold and bonuses. Can I get this back?

In my experience, which is with King email (not Facebook) accounts:  As soon as you use a new unsaved game to log into an existing account the gold you earned disappears. In fact the same happened to me this week when I chose to save  a new game I saved to an old player ID that had never been used for Candy Crush Saga, but for Alphabetty (which goes to show how old the ID was: Alphabetty was discontinued years ago). The result was that my gold balance was set back down to zero. I think King's computers do this automatically to prevent players cheating by merging accounts. You can try to contact player support as suggested by the moderator but in my recent experience there is no one there and they just send automated messages telling players to come here for advice from other players.
