Lost my 5000 streak because of a bug?

I had over 5000 in level-streak but yesterday I lost it due to I didn’t get the option to buy another 5 turns for gold as I always had been able to before. It just said that I failed the level. I had 250+ gold. Is this a bug? This was the first time it ever happened to me. Does anyone know if I can restore my streak or is it to late now?
