Question

Watching an ad for extra moves, not touching anything, and before the ad finishes, it violated my privacy and opens a webpage, which resets the game, and I lose progress.

This was the offending website this time.

Hello @DreamDancer, have you tried our standard troubleshooting tips?

* Internet: Ensure you have a strong and stable Internet connection.
* Updates: Check the app stores to update to the latest version of your game if needed, and the latest software update for your device.
* Memory: Do you have sufficient memory on your device? We recommend having at least 2GB free. If you have less than this be sure to free up some memory to enable the game to run as smoothly as possible.
* Cache: Clear your game cache. Do NOT clear your game data -- that is where your boosters are stored.  Clear the cache / history on your device. 
* Restart: Force close all open apps and restart your device. Leave it switched off for at least 10 seconds, then turn it on again.

It's possible you have a virus on your device.  Do you play on Facebook?  Some players have complained that their Facebook accounts were hacked.  In those cases, they have found the following article in our Help Center useful:

None of the above work, there is nobody at the desk of the advertisement team.

There was no clicking on anything in the ad, the ad took it upon itself to open the website with no permission from me to open said website.

There is no availability to report the ad as broken as well.

Also, reporting broken ads, if available, also do nothing to solve the issue.

The advertising companies don't care, they're getting paid either way.

Complaining to the company doing to advertising also doesn't help, over 90% of the broken ads are run by scammers.

Unfortunately, some ads do not work as intended. The best way to make the King advertisement team aware of issues is to use the process described in the following article from our Help Center.

In addition to reporting ads, you might find the following tips helpful:

* When you tap on the "x" button and it redirects to the advertiser's website, you might try to tap on the "back" button on your device. It might return you to the game but you might or might not get the reward for watching the ad.
* On some ads, there is a special button in a corner of the ad. After tapping on that button, you can select "Broken" from a set of options.

It is important to report faulty ads. The more complaints submitted about a given ad, the greater the likelihood it will get fixed or removed completely
