When do you get these extra +3 gold bars?

The question is in the title. I have thought that the extra bars were relative to how fast an episode was completed but it seems to be more random than that. Sometimes there are no extra bars, sometimes +3, and sometimes two +3s like in the screengrab. How does that work?

The question is about the timing of the offer for the +3/+3 gold bars not how to obtain the +3 gold bars. That is, the question relates to how often/when is the offer for +3/+3 gold bars offered.

I'm in the same "challenge" @Alienscar but get both 35 and 40 episodes, sometimes with no +3 add-ons, sometimes one +3, and sometimes two +3s. That's what I'm trying to sort. Like, I'd like to do more of whatever it might be in order to get 40 gold bars plus two +3s when I win an episode. But I'm understanding it's all random?

I do get a mix of 35 and 40 gold bars for Episode wins @myname_wastaken but to be honest I haven't taken much notice of the timing of it.

Because the 40 gold bar version is called the Elite Challenge (in my game) I just assumed it was a weekend thing only

I actually received a 40 gold version yesterday (Sunday)

I've noticed that ads are more likely to glitch out when I watch a lot of them in a short period of time. When the Champions Race ads glitched for me, I had watched ads for extra moves to pass the final level of the episode.

EDIT: Welp, speak of the devil. It seems that ads for extra moves are completely gone from my game. Hopefully they return tomorrow, but if they don't, I'll probably have no choice but to take a long hiatus.

EDIT 2: They're back as of today, but I don't trust that they will stay.

I'm sorry for that bad luck @Carol-38! Reading so many of your posts and comments since I finally joined this community, I feel like you're like the glitch queen, when all along I thought I'd surely won that title! And yet here we still are haha.

Well that sucks that you don't get this offer anymore, or for at least the last while @Alienscar Sure hope it returns because, at least for me, a number of episodes are just 35 gold so those +3s are super nice to have to push it over 40. it's weird how much of this game is really just a crapshoot. While saying that I'm not at all implying that some epic skillz aren't required to go as far as you and other wise and seasoned players have come @christinewupp In all honesty I think most of my game relies on the the candy crush gods smiling upon me on occasion as I don't possess many strategic skills. I'd be curious about your ballpark estimate of what the ratio might be of skills vs luck in order to get to the top of the tree?

Level 4,386 here - ever since the game gave me ads, I've always had the option to watch ads for extra gold bars. There was exactly one time where the ad glitched and caused me to forfeit the extra gold bars.

I agree with Christine @myname_wastaken I never used to find the extra gold bars offer random and I used to get this offer after completing every Episode now I haven't seen it at all for over a month.

I see this offer sometimes. It's in no way related to how fast you play: The delicious dash is related to your speed but that is a totally different feature. This ads offer cannot be relied on to be permanent. It comes and goes in my game.

I quite often get the + two adverts and last week the second advert crashed and closed my game, won't tell you what I shouted 🤬
