Candy Crush Saga app not updating on iOS

@QueenB @PummyRaj @kiara_wael I had to go through this app because i can’t open my CCS app. I tried offloading it and reinstalling it but it is taken forever. I did it with CCSOL and it worked properly. This is my first time having this problem. What should i do?

Thanks for sharing the screenshots, that really helps.

From what I can see, the game is still in the process of reinstalling from the App Store. When you offload or reinstall the app on iPhone, iOS first downloads the app again and then restores the game data, which can sometimes take a while depending on the connection.

A couple of things you can try:

* Open the App Store, search for Candy Crush Saga, and check if there is a download or update button there. If the download paused, tapping it will restart the installation.
* Make sure your internet connection is stable (Wi-Fi is usually best for reinstalling apps).
* If it stays stuck on the loading icon for a long time, you can try restarting your phone, then open the App Store again and reinstall the app from there.

Your progress should be safe as long as your game was connected to a King account or Facebook.

@QueenB I got it figured out. I had to clear all history and website data and shut my phone off and restarted it. It went to a newer version after that.
