I'm playing a 2017 version of Candy Crush Saga, I think that is better than te current versions
mobile CCS and systematic CCS are two completely different games.
Remembered that! I have been active in 2017 and 2018. To a lesser extent, 2019.
Tonight, I beat this old version of level 1,232. It was a real mind melter! There's not much room, and the ingredient comes out at 15 moves remaining. That conveyor belt was my downfall most of the time.
In my winning game, the conveyor belt caused a cascade beneath the ingredient dispenser, and the ingredient popped out. I cleared the chocolate beneath it in the very next move to prevent the ingredient from getting misaligned. A well-placed wrapped candy at the very bottom knocked out the bottom two locked chocolates, causing the ingredient to reach the exit.
It took me a couple dozen tries to nail down the strategy, and even then, I needed to get pretty lucky.
I remember the old days of the game! Back then, the mobile version used a typewriter font instead of a typical sans serif font for a lot of the smaller text. I first reached the end of the game when there were only 485 levels.
For nostalgia purposes, I play version 1.112.1.1 on an emulator because I want to experience all of the Flash version's levels before a bunch of redesigns happened. The version I'm using goes a little bit past the final Flash levels, but that's fine.
Modern CCS and old-school CCS are two very different games to me, and I like them both.
