Lost lives credit

I had 40 lives (from friends) last night unused. This morning I had all kinds of update crap to wade through and now I only have 2 lives in my gift account. What happened to them and how do I get them back? There has been a whole host of bad updates lately.

I am sorry to hear that you have lost your saved lives. Unfortunately as these are saved locally it may happen that after updates, of OS or the game itself these may be wipe out.
