Why has a multiplayer been activated for me without me clicking on it

I’m very unhappy I know you only get 6 in the whole tournament. And I’ve been saving them up as to not previously knowing this information so I had already used 2 up. I don’t want to loose another one. I’ve not even clicked on it and it’s suddenly been activated
