1000 blues from one level is still better than 150, especially when using a token. Some other old human-designed levels where the orders drop are still out there, and if someone can recognize them and make 1000 blues, good for them. You can't milk the hell out of one level now that the limit is so low, but it also changes the method from an exploit to a strategy.
Theo finished on level 9430, so would have hit on it during the third final knockout round last year. There are probably more like this level out there, but with the 1000 limit all not much use now.

This is an old level and I have done some searching @PummyRaj - thanks for the tag.
There is an old video from five years ago, which shows how old this level is and that it started off with 32 moves but Johnny passed it without boosters in 24 moves (8 remaining). The level number then was 8842.
Look at the video: I wonder how many blue candies Johnny would have scored on this 9 x 9 board. (I wonder how many purple players might have scored with this level in previous All Stars if using lollipops, party poppers or UFOs while waiting for more licorice to drop).

There are certain rules that govern the licorice drops on this and similar levels. Firstly, it doesn't drop every move, but, in this case, every other move. Secondly, every time you remove licorice, the next drop of licorice is delayed. This means that if your task is to collect a lot of licorice, it's pointless to make moves to allow a couple pieces of licorice to drop and then collect them; this is too slow. You need to plan your moves to let a large amount of licorice drop in one move, and then collect it.
I found a video that does that, and I'll illustrate the method using screenshots from it.
Here, the player cleared the board with 8 moves left and set up a color bomb and wrap combination. (Admittedly, this was a very lucky board.) Licorice has not dropped during the previous move, so it is about to drop.
Once the combo is set off, the licorice begins to drop, and the best part is that some of it is immediately collected by explosions. The color bomb and wrap combo is perfect for this task.
This is the result: 9 pieces of licorice were collected during that move, and there are plenty more on the board to collect.
I admit that the method is tricky, but it's what needs to be done on levels with a lot of licorice to gather and few moves.

Thank you for the screenshot of the level! I checked on YouTube and the level does not show any glitch as the licorice were dropping without any obstacles!

Ive had a couple of good cascades, but the licorices won't drop and when they do drop they're aren't very many

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with level 8854. My advise for this level is to take some time to analyze the portal to better understand where they start and transport the candies, as this will allow you to plan ahead and move special candies where needed to use their effects efficiently and specially getting them close to the Chocolate to clear them with the given moves.

Unable to purchase
Anyone else have an issue with the booster wheel not letting you spin? Mine says come back in xxx hours for the next spin, but the next spin never comes. I am so stuck on level 7280 and I need some booster help!!
