Hi @QueenB ,
I am writing to you because I am a finalist for the All Stars 2026, and I am feeling very anxious about the April 8th visa deadline.
I want to clarify my unique situation: I was born in Italy and I have lived here my entire life. I am currently in the final stages of obtaining my Italian citizenship, which I expect to receive in a few months. However, since the process won't be complete before the final in London, I am legally required to apply for a UK Standard Visitor Visa using my current passport (Ivory Coast).
I have already started the Priority Visa application (5-day service) to ensure I meet the requirements. My main concern is: if the physical visa arrives a few days after April 8th, will I be automatically disqualified? This competition means everything to me, and the thought of losing my spot due to a minor administrative delay—despite being born and raised in the EU—is making me lose sleep. If I can provide proof that the Priority application is "Under Process" by April 8th, would that be sufficient to confirm my participation?
I am fully committed to being in London from June 3rd to 6th. Please let me know if there is any flexibility for a born-in-Italy finalist who is doing everything possible to speed up the bureaucracy.
Thank you so much for your help.🩷
