Only Seven Players On Final Knockouts Round 1 Leader Board

I am still in two minds about what is going on @christinewupp. I am half convinced that Berry did get through on their own leader board, or they themselves aren't playing in the All Stars and they were added as a last minute target to my board for me to beat.

I now wonder if I had started much later, like Aaron, would my one Episode have been enough.

It seems Aaron's board stayed at seven players whilst mine started with seven and gradually increased to twelve. The last three being added after I had stopped playing. Starting later meant I wouldn't have stopped for as long.

Thanks @Nobody1 I can now just imagine someone at work sneakily trying to play Candy Crush.

I got that too @KiwiBird97 It's nothing to worry about: If we activate a multiplier token with less than 30 minutes left in the round this warning shows to tell us that we won't be able to use the full half hour worth of multiplying. But to my great relief it does still allow us to use the token. I used mine for just ten minutes from the end of one account to get past the leader.

What was the warning text? We need this so that we don't accidentally trigger it.

With regard to the even number theory I would expect any "task score" to be at least two episodes @Alienscar in this round. I would guess that the task must be over 4000 in your leaderboard: You achieved it and Berry failed to qualify. This would make sense: Each round gets harder by design and the task increases per round. If you passed the qualifiers with playing just one episode it is unlikely to continue. I would expect you to have to crush three episodes using your late entry technique in the next round. You have the tokens to help though, so it should be no problem to make it to the last round with those.

I’m on US west Coast and got up at 5:20 am to do this actually (wanted to be up to check on the other accounts anyway and make sure they were making it). Also going to have to do the same for finak knockouts 2 and 3

I checked my game when there was less than 18 minutes to go and I found a brand new player had been added to my leader board that had knocked me down to second.

I tried playing normally but I couldn't catch up, so I used another token.

Annoyingly as soon as I used a token Berry's score stopped increasing.

With regards to one of your other posts note mine and Berry's odd numbered scores.

Interestingly the game gave me a warning when I selected to use my token with only five minutes left on the clock.

Also interesting is Berry is shown as being in the USA. Wasn't it 03:00am in the morning there?

I just spotted this thread. Nice shot @Alienscar . And well done @aaronthewinner . That is the one good thing about these multiplier tokens: they do allow anyone to "hex" their way into the later stages using this late entry method. It's kind of weird that the app will allow players to do this. Of course they can't actually win the competition this way, but if all you want to do is observe then it's fabulous for that.

I will definitely have a crack at it in round 2, given I have four accounts in the round. Wouldn't it be a laugh if you made it all the way to final knockout round 3 playing just the one episode each time!

As above my leader board had eleven players on it by the time I had finished my Episode.

At the end of the countdown I had twelve players on the leader board.

I decided to try registering as late as possible again for Final Knockouts. Joined with about 40 min left in the round, and only 7 people had joined the leaderboard, some with oflfine times up to an hour ago. It stayed at 7 the entire time I was there, and I was forced to use a multiplier token, but I was able to qualify. My question to @Alienscar : Did your leaderboard ever fill up? It appears my leaderboard started with about 1 hr 40 min left in the round, so it's possible that leaderboards are filled up a bit strangely if yours never filled (possibly multiple filling up at once?)

Couldn't say for sure @rshkrn but I will be starting late just so I don't have to play for a long time. I am not bothered about the competition though as I know I will not be competitive in the third Final Knockouts Round as I cannot play for more than a couple of hours.

I don't thinks starting late works for round 2 and 3.

Most players left in these rounds are pretty serious at this point.
