No “X” button, no “Next” button, and no ways to get rid of it. Could it be that pressing the buttons too quickly caused this?
If you’re experiencing like this, try to touch more slowly so it doesn't happen again.
Same but only on 1.324 currently. Didn't encountered this in 1.325. This was first seen on the once existed alt, then to main which is now waiting for the next new levels as well as the Sweet Leagues event.
Hi, I have encountered the same issue several times, across both new and old levels. I once lost a double colour bomb from this glitch (but not the win streak) and that was also for the first round of the final knockouts. I am still able to make it to the third and final round of the final knockouts.

This happens in my game as well, when I skip through the animations before Yeti jumps up and down. As Alienscar stated, it's an error that occurs if we skip through the animations too quickly. I have found that if I tap on the crown near the top instead of near the bottom of the screen it doesn't happen. I guess players aren't complaining in masses because progress isn't lost, we just have to reload the app. This freezing has been going on since All Stars. I play on iPad and iPhone and see it on all devices @QueenB .

This occurs in my game as well and I think it is related to trying to skip the animations too quickly. If I skip after Yeti has appeared the Next button appears every time, but if I press too quickly (before Yeti appears) then my game freezes like yours.
Whilst it seems to be caused by skipping too quickly I don't know if the issue isn't connected to another game freezing issue.
Also I can't rule out King introducing this as a deliberate element of the game to stop people quickly skipping every animation they can.
