can someone please explain how the licorice works when you need to collect it? I've noticed usually it drops from dispensers every other play, but if I collect some it won't drop. Is this correct? Also, if there are a specific number of licorice on the board will none drop on every other play? Thank you

Yes @hugyourdog , this is correct. Every time you collect licorice, the next drop is delayed. So if the task is to collect a large amount of licorice, such as on this level, plan your moves to allow a large amount of licorice to drop, and then collect it.

You're also right that certain levels are programmed to only drop licorice when there's less than a certain amount on the board. The amount varies from level to level. On this level, it's 20.
