I worked hard for these rewards, and ooooh I got one of my favourites 🤸🤸🤸🤸🤸🤸🤸
Yes a 🤐 Coconut Wheel 🤭
@Carol-38 I just got this in my game today.
I had 30-minute event. Because I had just activated super charger, I played 3 rounds in 24 hours and received 25, 35 and 45 gold bars. The super charger + fish made the event very easy, without it would have been more difficult. In fact, I don't think I would have played that much.
I have the 30 minute version, which neatly requires players to play one episode. So we can try to work out if the task is achievable for the average player using this event. Since carrying out my extensive All Stars research I am now pretty sure that the app calculates task scores ( the scores our opponents achieve and which we need to beat in order to win the prize) according to how many episodes a player passes in a given time interval: For the lower prizes it's one episode per hour, for the best prizes it's one episode per half hour. So this event is a nice way to calculate how many fish can be produced in each episode.
This event is uneven because the fish yield per level varies hugely. I am not sure this event is suitable for all level ranges. Yesterday I had the 30 minute version in a new player game. However I found that levels between 100-200 simply do not produce enough fish to win the gold prize. This is something King need to look into: The event is not suited for new players. It should not be introduced to players pre level 200, as in this level range each episode only produces about 70-80 jelly fish. This may very well also be the case at other level ranges as well and leads to frustration: I quit in anger and deleted the app without saving!
The new fish based algorithms favour this event whereas the older ofl algorithms are not so well suited. To clarify: Fish based algorithms generally drop lots of jelly fish and create a lucky board by giving us fish + CB or fish + wrap combos, ofl (standing for "old fashioned lucky board") algorithms generally rely on special candies and combos of special candies to produce a pass. Fish based algorithms leave players one jelly short quite often. Ofl boards can still produce some nice cascades, so I find these more satisfying. So this event isn't my favourite because I prefer ofl to fish (No, not in real life! In fact I'm a pescatarian….). I miss Factory Frenzy, which was more fun as it relied on striped candies and ofl boards.
The best way to score well in this event is to create a super charger + fish combo. This does count all the fishes produced.
What the app apparently does not count though is the jelly fish that flood the board in the end sequence after we skip:
Those fish don't count. To explain: If we end a level with lots of moves spare the remaining moves will either turn into striped candies or jelly fish depending on whether it's a jelly level. In striped candy based events I have found that the striped candies that turn up in this skip sequence do get counted towards the total. So finishing a level early helps for example fill the striped candy count for the chocolate box and did count in Factory Frenzy as well. So what this means for Deep Dive Dash is this: It's not in your favour to end a level prematurely, such as with a double super charger combo. In easy levels, those that you know you will pass no matter what moves you make, you should try to keep creating jelly fish, especially if there are fish dispensers on the board, and try to create a colour bomb + fish combo to score the highest. On harder boards beware: Jelly fish often leave players one move or jelly short.
This was my finish after one episode in the mid 800s:
The task score of 175 is similar to what the new player at level 145 had to achieve for the same event. The prize was 35 gold bars.
The next round is offering even more gold:
Mine is only lasting for 10 mins. If I play the three stages without losing (On the third ones one time I went fifth due to fewer fishes being created and having harder recordings), it will result in 30min gameplay.
My next one @michimune is for 20 minutes ⬇️
I don't think the rewards that are showing are what I'd win if I came first in the Blueberry Depths, I think they are for the Grand Prize. So I'd have to win the next one to play for the Grand Prize. Still got over 3 days left, so I might get a chance to play it 🤞
🤸🤸🤸🤸🤸🤸🤸
A good and interesting post👍
Which version do you have?
Between 15 minutes and 30 minutes?
