Now I can understand that the more you progress the harder things will get. But this is atrocious from level 8713 to 8718 they took away 50 gold bars because once again not enough moves to complete the level.
As Carol suggested, in case you haven't seen this thread yet, I'll link it here. Here are some alternatives to spending huge sums of money:
I spent 99p and didn't lose my ads, that is correct @Carol-38 . So spending a small sum apparently isn't automatically losing players their ads now, but I'm sure anyone who spends £50 a month or more is not going to get offered that kind of help by the game. It wouldn't be good business for King to do that. We know which levels @glen1974 is playing at as he's posted screenshots. It's the late 8000s. Those were quite tough when I last played them. Many of them still have the complex original algorithms I enjoy, but they are not everyone's cup of tea of course.
I think it's UK Sterling @christinewupp which is even worse, but as I said each to their own. But to be spending that kind of money you really need to be having fun. What level are you on @glen1974 it might be an idea for you to follow Christine's guide of starting again with a new game and not spending any money. You would probably get adverts, get free gold, and you never know you might enjoy it more 🤔

OMG @glen1974 ! That is grim if it's US dollars you are referring to. By 3 sets of levels do you mean three episodes? If that is so then you are being taken advantage of by King in a big, big way. You need to understand this: King control every aspect of the game. Nothing is left to chance or under the control of the player.
The more players spend the more money the app tries to get out of players, so as long as you spend money the app will continue to make your game hard enough to make you spend more, and it won't send you the help that you need. Those of us who never spend any money get help in the form of free boosters and ads to watch for extra moves. It's business, it's capitalism, it's how big companies like King make money. Don't fall for their nasty tricks. You said in an earlier post you were going to quit. That would be the wise decision.

Whoa @glen1974 that's a lot of dosh mate, but each to their own. @christinewupp you put something not long ago about paying players getting adverts back again, was that for definite. Is there anything you can tell glen1974 about adverts showing again for those who pay real money, or is it too early to say 🤔
And do check out the Contests tab glen1974 every now and again to check what's being shown to enter for gold, you certainly deserve a few freebies 👍
Yes I'm a paying player I normally spend about £50 and get passed 3 sets of levels before my gold is gone
Oh well I really do feel for you @glen1974 We have had many posts and discussions over the years about players not getting adverts. This is going to make you angry again, sorry. Players who spend real money to buy anything in their game seem to have their adverts stopped, I believe you spend money to buy gold, don't you. Although I'm sure I've seen something recently about adverts being started again for those who do pay. So could you confirm if you are a paying player please, and we can discuss further 👍
Don't panic @christinewupp we'll work it out, but for the time being I've just completed an Episode. Will open another post shortly about all the boosters I got. And we can also discuss all of this there, we've hijacked glen1974's thread, so we've been naughty girls again 😂

Oh God, @Carol-38 is that supposed to make working this community easier? I did kind of note it was new, but now I notice the icons at the bottom are gone. It was so easy to attach a screenshot, just click on the landscape icon. Are the emojis still there? How do you link a thread? All those icons are gone! Ah no, they are still there in the reply box at the top, but not in this reply box I'm just posting in. It's confusing me.

It’s a ploy to get us to spend money!!!
I totally understand hard levels but it’s impossible with the amount of moves given and no way to get boosters or gold when you can’t pass the level.
Time to find a new game that’s relaxing and not frustrating.
@Carol-38 Sorry to butt in here, but you said you swiped candies until you get enough moves….. I wonder if you know that you don't need to swipe candies any more? You can just quit immediately to move up the extra moves offer.

This is a long reply, but please read it all slowly 😏
It's good that you don't use your gold on buying lives. Do you have many in your Friends List who send you lives every day. Or do you have to keep asking for them. You could add your friends link in a post in the Community, and ask for others to be your friend, then hopefully you'd get 20 lives a day, and that would stop you having to keep asking while playing. That's just a thought if you'd like to do it.
When you get to the end of a level that you can't pass, do you get adverts to watch that give you extra moves and boosters. Or don't you get anything like that?
Do you have Sweet Cinema to watch adverts and get boosters. Do you look in Contests in the Community to see if there is anything going on that you can join in with and hopefully be picked to win gold and/or boosters.
I'm asking you all these things because they could be helpful to you, in your game 🤞 🤗
And yes believe me, I know how difficult many levels are, many of us have sent a lot of feedback. But while we're waiting for things to improve, we have to do the best we can for ourselves.

Ok I do the same thing as you do I wait until I have 25 extra moves and a UFO booster when I don't complete a level the first two tries. But it seems to the same thing between 10 to 12 levels I never use gold to buy lives I always ask friends on my list or I wait until I have 5 lives again

And if that's all you took notice of from my reply, then what more can I or anyone else say. We are all players like yourself in the Community and come here to discuss and help each other with our games.
Let’s try again, please re-read my post where I asked about friends sending lives and if you had boosters. There are many here who can try and help and give you some king of advice. But I'm not sure what your understanding is of the replies we give you 🤔😏
So I come on here to complain about the game and your advice is to STOP. well if candy crush sorted the game out I would be complaining now would I. The game has become so inconsistent one minute you can get through a super hard level no problem but can't get passed a hard level. You start a race and the boosters all drop no problem but as you get towards the end of the race they just stop
You post a lot @glen1974 about how many gold bars you have to use, and quite rightly so, that's what the Community is here for. But quite often you answer what your problem is, although you probably don't realise it. I asked you in another post ⬇️ how you had used the gold bars, but you didn't answer.

I very rarely use 10 gold on Legendary for 25 extra moves and a UFO. I play on, well not exactly play, but just swipe candies about for another two tries until I can get 45 extra moves and a UFO. You need to study the board carefully before your last move to see what you really think you'll need. Yes more lives lost but again you have to work all of that out as well.
Do you have a lot of players in your Social, Friends List and do they send you lives every day so that you have the maximum twenty lives you can use a day?
Do you have a decent stock of boosters in your Inventory?
There are many things we need to think about now, especially with all the unhelpful changes King keep making to the game. So as I have said before, you need to sit down, give some thought on what you need and change tactics every now and again.
And the bottom line is, if you can't do that and don't enjoy playing, just stop 👍
How much progress have you made on the Baker's Box? The first three boxes give 10 minutes of timed color bomb, 5 minutes of timed lollipop hammer, and 3 minutes of timed UFO, respectively. You can also get timed boosters from spending pin sparks. That might help a little bit with the tricky levels.
This stretch of levels does look really rough. The difficulty curve is very unkind, especially with the event level at the end. It gets frustrating sometimes.
