Ads - Not working plus other Stuff

Quite a bit of this post pertains to Ads but there are some additional items below as well.

I've seen prior comments regarding issues with Ads not working. I can't get through more than 1-3 Cinemas without having at least once ad issue. Here's a bit more detail:

30 second Ads (ex: Whatnot) that have a single, still image tend to cause my phone to time out due to lack of activity. The screen becomes "black" when I go back in and does nothing. I have to close out of Candy Crush completely & reopen the app. The seemingly endless still image ads are the absolute bane. Do the advertisers really think that forcing us to watch a single image for 30 seconds will make us buy their product? I sure hope you're getting lots of extra ad revenue based on the length of the ads.
Whatnot ad just hung - I kept my phone screen active so it didn't time out and never got the opportunity to "X" out of the ad - I waited a full minute then had to reboot Candy Crush
The final "X" for the Chime, Rocket Money & Turo ads is SO small, one has to go through multiple iterations of attempted Exits before you can actually Exit- extremely frustrating. If the ad has a timed final exit, one should be able to see a countdown.

Different topics:

Quality rewards (boosters) for ads has plummeted in Cinema. Not only do we have to suffer through much longer ads, the boosters have been degraded. We continue to get 2 Wheels that are seldom usable. I have 9400 wheels - I could go 5-10 years with no new Wheels and still not use them up. We have more Clouds now, no Hands, fewer Color Bombs, fewer Stripe / Solids and more "uncontrollable" Fish. I wonder if anyone on the "Team" truly plays Candy Crush - like they're in the 22,000+ level. I'm guessing there isn't or the Team isn't listening to them. Longer ads plus less desirable boosters means I'm frustrated and close to quitting. I'm at level 22341, I've won the last 154 episode races, typically finish all the available levels and end up weekly in All Stars. I've slowed down this week and I probably won't finish the 3 remaining episodes because I really don't want to play All Stars again for awhile.
How about testing new boosters BEFORE you get rid of the old ones? I'd be happy to be a tester and give you my opinion!
I've noticed the 1 hour Color Bombs on the Daily Treat Machine are gone. Once again, a step backwards.
All Stars - is it possible to put some different games in All Stars. Every week I play the same 50-100 games over and over again. Although it allows me to fill up Candy Boxes quicker, it's become quite boring.

To be honest @kimadennis there is very little point complaining about adverts because for as long as I have been playing the game adverts have been causing the game to crash in one way or another.

Quality rewards (boosters) for ads has plummeted in Cinema.

This is the problem with King, definitive statements like this do not work and whilst you will get a lot of comments agreeing with you there are also people playing that still receive the Free Switch and still only have four "clouds". Because you will only see the comments of people that agree with you it gives a false impression of the state of the game.

These two sentences go hand-in-hand. Whilst people complain a lot about changes to the game and all of its issues a lot of them say they are going to quit and they never do. Not quitting is all the feedback that the developers need.

New boosters? As far as I know there aren't any new boosters due to arrive. The removal of the Free Switch isn't because they are going to replace it is to streamline the use of boosters across features.

Again, definitive statements such as this do not work. I received a one hour Colour Bomb from my Daily Treat Machine yesterday. If you want to see one hour Colour Bombs then play less as I find I receive more one hour timed Colour Bombs when my Treat Machine isn't full.

All Stars - is it possible to put some different games in All Stars. Every week I play the same 50-100 games over and over again. Although it allows me to fill up Candy Boxes quicker, it's become quite boring.

The Star Tournament isn't something you have to play. There are a few people at the end of the map on this forum that do not play the Tournament at all. If you find it boring why not take a break from it for a while.

Hopefully some Team members will listen.

Well that's the thing. They might listen, but we will never know as they never provide a direct response.

Hello @kimadennis It's great to see you post some good discussions, which is what the community needs, and personally I like long texts, so keep the "ranting" going.

I have ads in all my games too, but they never hang up (but are just as long). I think one of the problems with long ads may be that they often send players to their website and if at that point you lose your internet connection for some reason the ad may hang up. I find ads that send players to their websites in order to proceed with the game unacceptable. This is an invasion of privacy and potential security risk. I have found that since I turned off "personalised ads" in the app settings (click on "reject all") the only ads I see are those that divert me to the App Store for other apps. I find that much preferable to ending up on a dubious website! As soon as the app store shows up I can click on "done". The ads are far too long, but they never hang up for me, so I would recommend turning off personalised ads in settings.

Please could you change the words "All Stars" in your posts to "Star Tournament", as those are completely different events and people might get confused if you mention All Stars, which is the annual cash prize competition, thanks.
