every time I start a new game after passing the previous one, game loads, the earned badges try to load and the game locks. No matter, it doesn’t work - I close out and lose the new game - everytime

Hello @maramirez32 the "earned badges" (or Win Streak bags) causing the game to freeze is a known a issue and there isn't anything you can do to resolve the issue yourself.
King is investigating the issue so all you can do is wait and hope they fix it quickly.

I just had this same issue, completely froze and once reset I lost the color bomb I had just earned🤧
Hmm, are any other apps on your device having an issue? I wonder if something is amiss with the device?
Hi there, sorry to hear this it can sometimes an issue within the game. Please try the following lets see if it helps 💓 Force close apps and restart your device. Check that you have the latest game and device updates You need a strong connection wi fi is better and at least 2gig of free memory then clear the game cache as overloaded cache can create issues Android: Settings > Apps > Candy Crush Soda > Storage > Clear Cache iOS: Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data
