I am a long-standing Candy Crush player and I would like to know whether other players are experiencing the same issue.
Over a considerable period I have repeatedly encountered rewarded adverts that take me out of the game, redirect me to external websites or app stores, freeze, or fail to return properly to Candy Crush.
When this happens I often lose the promised reward and, in some cases, lose bonuses, progress or streaks that I have built up over time.
While the problem is not confined to a single advertiser, I have noticed that it occurs disproportionately with adverts for Temu and Shein.
My concern is that the player has already fulfilled their side of the arrangement by watching the advert. King receives advertising revenue from that view, yet the player may receive no reward and can sometimes be left worse off than before.
Has anyone else experienced this, particularly with Temu or Shein adverts?
Does King track failure rates by advertiser, and what compensation policy applies when a player watches an advert but does not receive the promised reward?
