I am starting a new thread on this. So let's hope others will join in with their experiences. These are two of mine:
As you can see: Nasturtium has a small team with three players and a small goal of 110 for the bronze chest.
The Toad has a large team mostly made up of inactive players (14 players) and has itself collected a massive 492 keys without even having reached the bronze box!
Suggestions:
- Most of the inactive players are newbies at levels below 200 who joined the event and then gave up playing Candy Crush (I can't blame them for trying it and then quitting, it's still pretty awful 1-200, but that's another story). Perhaps it would help to only offer this event to players after level 200. That would prevent the boards being clogged up by inactive newbies.
- The prizes are rubbish. Improve the prizes. Most of us don't need indefinite lives, but would prefer boosters.
- The best way to play this event is to play it alone, i.e create your own team and not invite anyone else on it. It gives the best prizes the quickest. The more members a team has the harder it gets. So in its current form this is best played as a single player event, not a team event. Which kind of makes it not fit for purpose. I'm not sure how to fix this anomaly @QueenB but I'm just saying this here so that the team are made aware this event is not functioning as intended.
To illustrate the last point:
Here my new player who downloaded the app yesterday and played to level 110, and decided to play the event alone:
I nearly have reached the gold box already, and for this player the timed boosters do come in handy as well. However only if they play alone. Had I joined an existing team the situation would have been quite different. This is very counterintuitive.
