Super Color Bomb...

Question

Am I the only one getting disappointed every time I lose the super color bomb just because I opened another app that popped up during a game?? 😂

In another game, unless I really lose a level, only then its super rainbow blast gets reset.  Even if I close the game midway, I can go back to that level with the booster still activated. And there's no time limit to this booster.  I hope this feature gets copied to Candy Crash instead of changing the booster activation to clicking. 😁

I get where you're coming from, seeing you often lose the Super Colour Bomb when you leave the app. I can share why this happens though.

The Super Colour Bomb is considered a streak item. Meaning, the conditions for keeping it up until its time limit is also not losing a level. When you exit the app mid-level, most devices put Candy Crush in suspension (depending on the device, how long you left the app and what other apps you have open), closing it in the background. When this happens, it's basically as good as straight up closing Candy Crush while you're in the middle of a level. You can imagine this results in losing that level you were playing.

This is not on our end, nor is it something we can control with the game itself. Your device's operating system decides what to close to free up resources for other things.

Due to this, you lose your streak, which is what the Super Colour Bomb is. To incorporate what you're suggesting, we'd need to change how the Super Colour bomb works overall. If you have another game in which this doesn't happen, it's either because how you handle it results in it not being closed in the background, or it's not lost when you lose a level.
