How many are you supposed to receive per play, please, when I choose it? I didn't receive any when it was a timed freebie. Thank you

I see you're asking how many special candies you're to expect per play. When it comes to timed boosters, they don't function in terms of quantity. They apply 1 booster to each level you're able to play during the period it lasts.
So if you get 15 minutes colour bomb and only played 1 level in that 15 minutes, you would only have gotten use of 1 booster.
