I'm sorry to see you're having connection issues, but I have to share firstly that the game doesn't officially support VPN usage.
As a third-party application, Candy Crush relies on communication with your platform's services. Things that conflict with that communication, like VPNs, can cause innate issues. If possible, please try turning it off so you can sync your progress.
Also ensure you're on the latest version of both the game and your device's operating system.
