Double Color Bomb: “Next” button not responding or freezing - There is a workaround Reed More....

Update by CM: Workaround for the “Next” button issue

We’ve seen reports that the “Next” button on the Double Color Bomb screen may not always respond when tapped or clicked.

The team is looking into this. In the meantime, please try tapping or clicking around the sides of the “Next” button, not only directly in the middle of it. Some players have found that the button responds when they click slightly to the side.

This is only a temporary workaround while the issue is being checked.

Hello QueenB!

I always have problems with the image describing the double color bombs. Every time you play the levels and get these double color bombs, this guide pops up. Due to this guide, the "continue" button doesn't work and gets stuck. Every time, I close the app and thus lose the earned double color bombs.

Could you please omit the picture with the instructions? I already know it. It's enough the first time when you get these color bombs.

That would be nice. Because my game is up to date and everything is working well. Thank you.

I was able to get the double color bombs now. It's only half okay. When I click on the "Next" button, nothing happens and it hangs. If I click on one side of the button, it responds. It's really strange.

Thanks, it does look like you have the latest game app version installed… Okay, I'll flag this to the team so they can keep an eye on this feature and if this happens again, let me know so I can go back to the team and update them 😉

I have to be honest. I've often had problems with the buttons lately. If I always click on the left or right side, it worked. But it was harder than it is now. I often had to click on it several times before it even responded. Now it responds better on the sides. That's what I wanted to add. Thank you for your help!!!🤗

That’s great, thank you for checking and letting me know!

I was just about to come back with an update, as the team confirmed the same workaround: while they’re working on fixing this properly, clicking around the button should help it respond.

I’m glad you found that out already, even if it’s definitely not ideal. The button should work normally, of course.

I also noticed the duplicate comments showing there, so we’re looking into that as well.

So, I had to search first, as I'm not very familiar with this tablet yet. Thus, I'm learning more and more through the community. Thank you for that too.

I took two pictures. One of the tablet and the version of Candy Crush.

At the moment, no updates are available and it is set to update automatically.
