Freezing when using color bombs

Question

Hello, I believe this is a known issue, but none of the solutions I have read have worked. In my iPhone 15, the game frequently freezes when I use a color bomb combined with a fish, striped candy, etc.

I have plenty of storage, have turned the game on and off. Just now I paid bars for extra moves, only to lose it all with a freeze.

Is there any other fix for this specific problem? I contacted support and i just get links to the help center.

Today’s example of a freeze that cost me the loss of the power color bomb and a win streak. (I will note, I play separately on my Amazon Fire tablet and have never had this problem there)

I will update that it’s not just when using color bombs - it just happened to me on a routine move. Frustrating!

My app is version 1331.0.1 - and i would say the problem happens frequently but not every time.
