Just checking to see how the labels (called popular tags) listed at the bottom of the page when creating a new thread, shows. I selected Feedback, mainly because I wouldn't have a reason to pick anything else 😉

Thank you both for taking the time to explain this in more detail. I understand the concern much better now.
@Carol-38, my earlier explanation was not clear enough. The Feedback tag should appear at the bottom of the first post, under “Find more posts tagged with.” However, the fact that you could not easily find it is useful feedback in itself. If an experienced Community member is unsure where to look or what the tag does, then it may be even less clear for someone visiting for the first time.
@christinewupp, thank you as well for testing the different tags and sharing specific examples. I understand your concerns that some of the options may overlap, may be too broad, or may be interpreted differently by players. I also see your point that if tags are selected incorrectly, the pages they lead to become less useful because unrelated discussions appear together.
So, the main feedback I’m taking from both of you is that:
@Carol-38 , I also noted what you mentioned about not receiving some mention notifications. That sounds separate from the tags, but please let me know if it continues happening so we can look into it more closely.
And yes, I hear you both on the wider usability issues and translation. I know those remain important concerns.
It took me a while to find those tags. Are the game's homepage and 'Somebody needs help' the only pages where they are supposed to be, or is there something wrong with my browsers/account?
I looked through the posts tagged 'Level Help' and found that this tag is used for almost every post, and only a few are actually related to level help. Posts tagged 'Level help' include: restoring progress, ads issues, broken Booster Wheel, and all sorts of other things. If the AI were to choose the appropriate tags, it might work and be of some use. However, if the system relies on players choosing tags themselves, it's not going to work, I'm afraid.
@QueenB Actually I did leave some feedback on the Community Lounge site that asked for feedback and voting in a poll, just yesterday. But you don't need to go there to check it out. My feedback is this: I think it's confusing most people who come to this community on a casual or first time basis, those people who come here with a question or complaint and many of whom don't speak English or if they do their English is not very good. These people seem to just randomly click on one or two tags. So once we then check that tag ( @Carol-38 I have done this by clicking on the "somebody needs help!" to the right of my screen. The page that then opens has the tags on it. Example:
So if you click on the tags at the bottom you get all the posts that used the tag), all manner of posts show up which are in fact "off topic" for that tag.
What I found is that people are confused by the choices. For example "Contest" only contains one tag for an actual contest, and that could much more easily be found by going to the top of this page and clicking on the huge green circle with the word "contest" on it. Then again I'm not even sure if I get this one right: Maybe "contest" is supposed to mean events like leaderboards, but then they are essentially no different from other events and we do also have an "events" tag. So "contest" should be dropped to start off with.
"Rewards" is a very, very broad category and I think this should also be dropped as to many players here posting it is a translation for "boosters", in fact for many it is synonymous with the ads features, whereas for us English speaking folk it means all manner of things such as what we get from events, but there is also a tag for events and for bugs, those overlap, so I think "rewards" should get removed as well.
Oh, and "fan content" is also a weird one. This has snakegore's genuine fan content, but everything else in there is dubious and possibly spam. (You might want to check those posts out. There is one asking for a lady friend. )
I have used tags myself. I like the "guides and tips" one, naturally, because that's something I post about. However, I very much doubt any newbies would look at the selection and check them out to get some tips and guides. If Carol can't find the tags, how would anybody?
Sorry @QueenB forgot to name tag you in my last post. Mind you, not sure if that's playing up again, as I haven't received a few tags in the last few days. Only knew I'd been tagged by rechecking posts.
What I forgot to put in my other post as well is, apart from the site being fixed of all it's faults, and once that's done, surely the first thing you would all (Community Managers) have wanted to have, is the translation back.
This is meant to be a stronger platform, so surely that can be added again 🤔. Much more important and helpful than labels.
Phew 🥵
🤕 So where do I find the feedback tag ❓
Do the current options make sense when creating a post? Are there any tags you think are missing or that would be more useful.
I really don't know what they're all about to be honest. Not something I would use, I only come into the Community to have my say and see what else is being said, and help if I can.
What would make things more useful, is if all the current problems with the site get fixed, and it becomes simpler to use. Rather than gimmicks, that I feel hardly anyone will understand or use.
Sorry don't mean to be a downer, but surely you want more players joining and staying, rather tham more confusion. Might only be my opinion, but as you know there isn't an awful lot of other feedback being given. Would be nice wouldn't it, if others post saying they understand it, and how they think it is making an improvement, or not 🤗.
Hi @Carol-38 😊
Yes, these are new tags we’ve introduced to help group similar discussions together and make content easier to find.
For example, because you selected Feedback, that tag now appears on your post. When you click the Feedback tag, you can see how many discussions are using it, and selecting the number of posts will take you to a page showing all discussions with the same tag.
So, the tag does not change anything inside your post itself. It simply places the discussion together with other posts about the same type of topic. You can also follow a tag if you would like to receive notifications when new discussions are added to it.
We’re still testing how useful and clear these tags are, so I’d really appreciate your feedback.

I'm guessing @FluffyDinosaur @QueenB you are two out of a small group, who would be able to explain. It's just I clicked on the Feedback label but nothing different showed up on my post, that I could see. So what are the labels - won't call them tags here, in case many reply thinking it's the name tags. - for, how do they work and for what reason.
Would like to know being as I've now seen them, thanks 👍
Oh well I don't know what it's all about, so maybe someone could explain what the labels actually do, and for whose benefit, please 🤔
