scratched it over 30 times but it’s not working and I’m not getting the 250 gold bars. I left the game and came back hours later but nothing

What 250 gold bars @Munster ? If you buy a hundred lottery tickets for a real lottery, do you expect this will guarantee you will win the million dollars that's in the jackpot? That is not how lotteries work. This event is a lottery.
There is also a timer clearly visible just underneath the words "Yeti's Draw" on your screenshot. It is clear that this is a timer by the little ticking clock icon. It clearly states "11 hours and 15 minutes" to go. That means that in eleven hours and fifteen minutes the game will decide which lucky player will be given the 250 gold prize. Is there a way to make this any clearer?
To get a few boosters while you wait for the draw: Tap on "quick scratch" at the bottom. If it is not possible to click on "quick scratch" then follow the advice to contact player support.
