Number of moves DO differ between accounts/test groups

I can definitely say that there are currently different test groups with different numbers of moves for each level.

My own two games differ remarkably. The two games that are near enough each other to be able to compare without much scrolling are the tapper and the flasher.

The tapper being the three week old account at level 2414, which has the tapping feature. The flasher is about a year old and at level 3551 and is going to stay there until King switch off the flashy graphics. So they are easy to compare.

Baseline moves (without win streak or any other add-ons) are:

Hard Level 2411: Tapper = 24 Flasher = 20

Hard Level 2414: Tapper = 18 Flasher = 15

I'll check some more levels at different difficulties as I play.

I think we discussed level labelling before @christinewupp , and came to the conclusion that the labelling is either bespoke or depends on the test group one is in. The logical next step would be to make the number of moves different for every player. This seems natural, as everything in this game is bespoke. Another possibility has to do with the tap feature. I wonder if it's a coincidence that the tapper is the one that always gets more moves. Are they trying to attract new players and get them hooked by giving them that feature and an easy ride? Having said that, I came across a level that has a different number of moves on my two devices. I don't know how to explain that. Are King currently running tests? Is the game moving towards making the move count player-specific? I have a feeling that the game is in a transitional state right now.

In addition:

Level 2417 both accounts see the same number of moves and identical boards. However the level is labelled Nightmare for Tapper and Legendary for Flasher.

Super Hard level 2420 Tapper: 21 moves. Flasher: 17 moves

This is remarkable as in the previous year, and probably longer, there have never been any differences in number or moves or labels between different accounts or different devices. (Tapper is on iPhone, Flasher on iPad) App updates never seemed to make a difference either in the past, as the server automatically made the updates of level design and difficulty regardless of whether I had updated the app.

Can anyone offer any explanation?
