Why does my credit card get charged $8.99 for a $1.99 purchase of 10 gold bars? This has happened multiple times.

Purchases and charges are handled by the payment provider connected to your device, so we’re unable to review the transaction here in the Community.
Please check the receipt or invoice from your payment provider to confirm exactly what was charged. If you play on an Android device, you’ll need to contact Google Play. If you play on an Apple device, please contact Apple through your App Store purchase history.
They’ll be able to review the charge and help you report any issue with the purchase.
