My tapping account also is still seeing the old gold bars gold chocolate box, so I don't think it's just players near or at the end of the map who get the new version. I see 27 or 25 gold bar champions races in my accounts now.
Thanks @dia_candy !
My race gold dropped to 27 as well, even before I reached the end of the map, so it must be the across-the-board reduction. I still have gold in the Chocolate box too, so we might be in the same 'test group'.
Regarding the Supercharger, I remember @Nobody1 finding that if you fall a bit behind the end of the map and complete 120 levels every other week instead of 60 every week, the game offers it again. However, without ads, the Supercharger-based strategy is probably too costly.
Congratulations! Yes, 60 levels a week is fine, but the problem is that once I reached at the end of the map, the Candy Royale, Supercharger, and ads disappeared, and the number of gold bars for a race episode dropped to 27; I still have gold bars in the chocolate box.
Thatβs one of the things I like about it, you canβt get stuck on a level for ages - so no flippinβ wheel to contend with.
(Must edit my original post, I see I left out the word βmoreβ π so it didnβt make much sense. Posting late at night - never the best idea!)
Thank you @teenybee !
Yes, these levels are a far cry from the blocker-filled boards I've been playing lately. I was just planning on checking out the Star Tournament, but I ended up playing for two hours.
Congratulations @MannyFae! And Iβm glad you are enjoying the Star Tournament; it is so much more useful and enjoyable than it used to be. A whole new set of levels for you to analyse π.
Thank you @Carol-38 π
Would you believe it, the Pink Blancmange Monster is gone from my game. Those horrible levels just vanished overnight when I was halfway through the 4th loop. I don't know if it was a bug or they just turned it off in my game, but I am glad.
Whoa, I don't look in Candy Corner every day @MannyFae but I'm glad I did today π Whoop whoop you got there ππ , and you even managed it with the Pink Blancmange Monster looming, for too many weeks while doing it.
Well done π
Thank you @Alienscar
Well, I have certainly taken my time. 4 years π I usually prefer to complete just one or two episodes a day, and I played that way for most of that time, without setting a goal of reaching the rainbow. It's just that when I got relatively close, I decided I wanted to get there.
Congratulations on getting to the end of the map @MannyFae
I must admit that due to your knowledge of the game I was surprised when you first said you were trying to complete the game as I had always thought that you were already there, or very close to it.
I agree, it's getting interesting again with the constant changes. It keeps me hooked as I'm trying to second guess King's next move and look for patterns in the algorithms, so there is some interest left in the game for me too.
I can recommend starting a new game. The earlier levels are the best for analysing the changes they're making to the level algorithms and events and there are a lot of the old levels still there with some lucky boards. I always enjoy my new games. It's just such a shame they butchered levels 800-1500.
Thank you π
I am in a fairly good mood. It doesn't feel anticlimax, 60 levels per week suit me well, and I definitely like the Star Tournament. Observing where things are heading is now more of interest than playing, and the current developments are fascinating. I think I'd like to see this show through to the end.
The slog started after 20,000, and the hardest part was the monotonous stream of levels that were all alike. The 20k range might be the worst, or the prospect of having to deal with over 2,000 of them was just too depressing. The levels closer to the end felt somehow better. Today there were lucky boards!
I'm even entertaining the thought of starting a new gameβ¦ π€
Yippee!
Congratulations! I bet it was a hard slog right at the end.
The question isβ¦..what now?
