Why can't I send lives in Candy Crush Saga anymore?

I can't send lives in Candy Crush Saga since it changed to the new format. No longer have friends showing on the left either. Only can see friends in the Progress and Leaderboards but cannot send any lives. How can this be fixed.

Same here - no option to send lives and I am not playing in Facebook. The new version of CC caused this so, King - you had better remedy this glitch or that's the end of CC for me.

This Discussion is from 2019 @Granmums so whilst the issue has the same result as your issue it probably isn't caused by the same thing.

In your case the level rankings at the bottom of a level have been removed for now and in my opinion it isn't a glitch. There is nothing you can do to make them reappear.

You can still send lives to your friends though if you want to, but not ad quickly.

To send lives now you either have to respond to your friends life requests, or send lives one by one using the Friend tab of your Profile.

I tried logging out and loggin in. I tried shutting down, reinstalling but still no luck. What good is it to have your friends and cn't give them a life every now and then??

Hey guys, it's a Facebook glitch and you can read all about it here. We have to wait for them to resolve it.

When I try to send lives I get an error message saying something went wrong. I'm not sure if I am receiving lives or not either. This is happening in both candy crush saga and soda saga

Normally, we send friends lives from the list of people we are competing with in the section where we Hit Play to start the game. It still works. Unfortunately, the list was shortened to just one person like what I am showing in the ScreenShot. This has been like this for over a year now whether it is on Facebook, on Windows 10 or iPhone. My friends and I kind of understood the situation so we all agreed that if I send them Request for Life, then they'll send me theirs as well in return which works great for all of us. You might want to try this to remedy the situation.

Ive got the exact same issue so,I’ve contacted candy crush support and they’re telling me
it’s normal, apparently you can only send lives if someone asks for them! Hey to win a bonus you have to send 10 lives out! 🤷‍♀️

Thanks for responding @melleed1. I want to say "here we go again with Facebook!". It keeps happening over and over again with the lives. It has always turned out to be a Facebook glitch and once they fixed it, the lives worked for a while but then started up again. You are the first player reporting it again so I will keep my eyes open here to see if anyone else has this problem.

My Candy Crush is active and has access to all my friends. I can receive lives from friends but cannot send any and haven't been able to for some time. I think since it went to the new format. It doesn't matter what device I am on. Phone or PC. Cannot see friends except in leaderboards and progress. When I click on the mail nothing happens. No pop up to send lives.

Hi @melleed1, are you by any chance playing the game through Facebook? Every so often I see a bunch of messages here with the same complaint and it always turns out to be a Facebook glitch so we have to wait until they fix it on their end. If you are playing through Facebook you might need to check your settings too. Here is a link to check that out:
