Level 3640 – my worst fears realised

I have been battling away on this level for more hours than I care to admit to because it is a ridiculous level. I read a lot in the video forums about levels being hiked up to encourage players to spend a little. I decided to take the other approach and play on like an independent demon. However, I just got a pop up message for level 3640 that said xxx amount of players passed this level by paying for extra turns. Baa da boom. There is it folks. A sad die for me in CC Land. I just want to do the game not be hoodwinked out of coin I actually can't afford... and if I could I wouldn't be spending my days playing this game. Social issues. Could be a story.

Well, @lisab100 since it is a ridiculous level, people have to spend Gold Bars for extra moves especially when they're very close at finishing it.0

Yes, thanks for the suggestion. That site is already my go-to. I visit there for most of the levels. A lot of the levels are a lot harder than the originals, which this site does address, but it is a hard slog these days.1

Hi there! Welcome to the Community!We all understand your frustrations. We had to go through what you've been through. It is true that this 2019, a lot of the CCS Levels' moves were reduced making them a lot harder than the original. You might be surprised with this Hard Level 3640. It is actually an exception to that observation. Did you know that the Original Easy Level had 25 moves, 3 less moves than this revised 2019 Version of the same game which has 28 moves? The goal is the same although the label was changed to Hard. Below are the ScreenShots of the 2 Versions.

This is not the only level with extra moves than the Original Version. There are also other ones that I played recently.

Thanks Mercerik. I wish this was more the rule and not the exception. More and more the comments I am reading on videos are filled with venting CC players wishing for 'lucky boards' and threatening to leave!0

I think I’m about to give up on Candy Crush. I’ve been stuck on level 3640 for weeks now. And I’ve found as I’ve reached over 3000 the levels are ridiculously difficult. No amount of skill can help. You just have to get lucky!!!
