Windows 10 Candy Crush app display issue

The issue with Windows 10 with oversized text and some info off screen is taking a lot longer to fix than I thought. Any info regarding this issue?

Thank you for your help. I am sorta new to participating in the Community although I have been playing Candy Crush for about 6 years. I am used to solving and getting around Candy Crush obstacles by myself. Love the game. Enjoying the Community for the most part. Some people are not so sweet though!

This is a small error of the latest update. It's not a problem to play the game or use the 3rd trophy.

Using W10 The text and icons are huge to what they were, some icons are not visible. Why is this happening it's ruining the game. Tried dragging the window to no effect. Unable to post screenshots, don't know why.

I could not delete it but I could change it so I did to this. I must have done something wrong???

@Sammie_Campbell try dragging it in different ways. Drag the way that makes the black bars narrower. The screen is going to look different. A longer, narrower screen but with no black bars. It will more like what the screen on your smart phone looks like when playing candy crush if you play the mobile version.

I reported this when the first iteration appeared. I didn't think it was an issue at the time so posted in General Discussion where few people go I guess. Wish I could move my thread to Support: https://community.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/discussion/260331/new-cinema-design/p1

The community mod recently dropped by the thread and confirmed it's a bug being worked on. Since my posting, as of yesterday my game now has the ridiculous zoom-in too. So it seems King is doing something. (making it worse imo..)

Currently, there are three different types of problems in Windows 10 App, in the latest version.

The Game's map is bigger than the screen.
Black border on top and bottom, which is incompatible.
Graphics and some of the problems have been seen from others

The issues have already been reported, and will be resolved soon.
Keep a little patience 😊🙏

Try resizing your game screen. Make it narrower and taller like a smart phone screen would look. Put your cursor on a corner or side or end and drag it.

I'm having the same issue too, but my bars are on the sides. Can still play the game but it's a bit disorienting with it zoomed in so much.

Interesting developement . Today the screen on my computer for the candy crush windows 10 app still had the black borders as shown in @avica picture. I resized my game screen making it shaped more like a smart phone app. The game screen now looks perfect with no black borders. Is King possibly changing the format of the windows 10 CC app?

I never had problems with Windows 10 since its Initial Release in 2015. With this problem, if you are not used to doing System Restore, do not do it yourself because the July 9th Update is not something you want to mess with. There was a big problem with it not restarting the computer properly after the Restoration was Completed. Instead, it is shutting it down. You will end up resetting Windows 10. You have to call Microsoft Support at (800) 642-7676. Support Call is free and they can remotely assist you with this problem.

Hi there! Not all Computers and Displays have the same Configuration Specification. We have different Video Cards. It didn't affect my Windows 10 CCS App but there could be other Apps or Programs that can suffer because of this Update Incompatibility. I would rather fix it now than wait till the problem is widespread. The one that I notice that is Zoomed-in is the Facebook CCS App. If you play the game inside Facebook, you'll probably realize that the CCS Screen should not be this big.

Hi there! Welcome to the Community!

I am not sure if we same issue but since after the Windows 10 July 9th Update, my Screen Setting was messed-up. The Black Line at the bottom where the System Tray is with the Date and Time has widened to about an inch upward, making the Screen Smaller. The Windows 10 Candy Crush Saga App was OK but the CCS Facebook App was affected. I checked all the necessary adjustments at the bottom of the Monitor but the Settings were fine. My only option left was doing System Restore but stumbled into a big problem which is what I am trying to fix right now.

I certainly hope this this is not what you have because it has ruined my day. Thanks to Windows 10 Update! It is awful!
