Where are my friends?

Would like to know where MY friends list went?  It has been replaced by a bunch of people I don't know.

I really, just want to play against MY own friends thanks.  (And yes, I am game saved through Facebook so I don't understand).

    I guess I am the only one who doesn't like to see the best scores from players I HAVE NO CLUE of, but prefer to see the best scores from each level of MY OWN FRIENDS....

    Do these folks send me lives?  Sure.  But now, I have no way of sending my friends lives.  They have disappeared.  

    I miss playing against folks in my real life...   I am getting bored, and angry, without them.

    I am having the same problem after initially being told unable to connect.. Anyone any clues how to fix this?

    Yes.  This has happened before when I was not connected.  But I am connected it tells me.  The checkmark is there.  When I am not connected, it just swirls.

    Problems like this seem to be happening fairly regularly lately, quite often after an update. I'm also ( like many others it would seem) against the timed boosters. Quite often, they're useless, ie not useable on current level.

    If we only look at it that way it will be useless. But it is helpful at some point.
