Why am I having an old version of CCS on my desktop? How can I get the new version?

I play on my desktop win 10,laptop win 10 and laptop FB (same account), I play on smartphone and I have a a new version there--no problem. But when i enter FB CCS on my desktop google chrome (updated,cleared history and cache), i get an old version and I passed the level 2825 and there are no more levels.

Perhaps try another browser for your desktop. I have this same thing happen to me, not all browsers want to work on my desktop or laptop. In fact when I try to play the old flash version at King.com neither my computer or my laptop will work on Firefox. Here is a link for Chrome "Fix videos and games" https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/6138475?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en-GB but I think maybe you have already looked at this. I know you have tried Edge, other browsers to maybe try: Firefox, Vilvadi, Maxthon, Opera, & Comodo Dragon (this one kepts tying to get you to install its' own security). Sometimes working around a problem is the easiest solution at the time.

You seem to know the trouble shooting tips. Perhaps go back and try Chrome again at a later date. When CCS 1st changed to the HTML version I could not get it to work on Chrome or Edge no matter what I tried. So I checked out many different browsers. At present the Facebook CCS works on all the browsers for me. What did I do? Found a browser that worked (can't remember which one). Then nothing, not a thing. Waited and tried each browser again at a later date.

To update Google Chrome:

On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click More .
Click Update Google Chrome. If you don't see this button, you're on the latest version.

Ok. Now i tried opera browser.Little bit slow but playable (new version-same fb profile).Google chrome supposed to be the best browser.Gonna leave this issue to be dealt with by the game developers.I found a solution for my gameplay (for now).Thank you all for trying to help a "newbie"

It happens only on desktop. I use google chrome on laptop and desktop, but the weirdest thing is that i have an old version on desktop FB and new version on laptop. I'm schratching my head over this for 1 week now . lol

I do not know why the solution seems hard sometimes. You could try yet another browser there are several others that you can try. I hope that you can play all the versions of the game soon. 🙃

I did on microsoft edge but it freezes constantly making it unplayable too. Why is there not a simple solution for this problem? I am not the only one, Don't they want us all to play? I don't get it. lol

Have you tried to play the FB CCS on a different internet browser other than Google Chrome? Sometimes trying a different browser will do the trick. 🙃
